The Beings who inhabit Alienus are so varied, that they can only be grouped in broad categories, and these are more or less guidelines than hard and fast rules.
The Beings in this category follow a basic standard shape of upright, one head, neck, and torso, two eyes, two arms, two legs, and one nose and mouth. This basic shape is common enough to become its own category.
There are many Beings on Alienus who strongly resemble animals, but have high intelligence and speech capabilities. If you’re not sure if a creature is an animal or an Animoid, just ask! That’s the fastest way to find out.
Weirdoids are Beings that don’t slot easily into any category. There’s not enough of one specific kind to warrant its own category, but they still make up a large chunk of Alienus’s population in all. Some of these Beings may not even be organic.
The categories are not strict separated groups, as there are plenty of Beings that seem halfway between two categories, and don’t fit cleanly into one or the other, and a few that could even fit to an extent in all three.
Of course, the examples on these sheets don’t cover the entirety of Alienus’s population, just a few of the more common ones. There are so many variety of Beings and creatures that biologists and magicologists are still discovering and categorizing them to this day.
