Saint Jolly. Also known as Santa. Jolly is said to have been mute in life as he doesn’t speak, even now as a Spirit, preferring to sign or use body language instead. People guess he was a toy maker of some sort in life. One creative author wrote a Grimm’s style fairy tale of how they think Jolly became a Spirit. It’s guessed he looked much the same back then as he does now. In no other world will you see children run joyfully to a giant four-armed skeleton screaming, “Santa! Santa!” with excitement. Jolly is always very careful and gentle with anything and everything he handles. He travels in a steam-powered airship pulled by clockwork hippogriffs. Each of these hippogriffs appear to be golems of a sort, each with their own personality. Though rather than runes, scholars suspect they are powered by pieces of Jolly’s own Spirit instead. Bringer of joy and gifts, not just toys, but also things people need. Those preparing to face the onset of Winter are especially grateful for the gifts that help carry them through. Most of Jolly’s contracts revolve around being kind to others.
