Kia, the Spirit of Renewal. Kia watches over and cares for all new lives being born, especially around Spring. If an area’s population is low, she will protect any and all new life in that area, and give colorful egg-shaped objects filled with nourishing sustenance (definitely Spiritual in nature, these eggs can’t be formed or made naturally) to any animals that need it until the area is able to sustain itself on its own. The month is Renewus. Also, if you find one of her eggs and take it she will come after you, it was not meant for you (her usual form is the size of a small rabbit, and she will be angrily squeaking a lecture at you.) There are children’s stories of Kia’s origin being a butterfly, bunny, and blue bird who worked together to help each other survive. When famine came, the bird and butterfly could have flown away to better lands, but they chose instead to stay with the bunny to the end. The three’s selflessness to each other transformed them into Spirits, who then combined themselves into one. Kia has not confirmed or denied this story.
